i am hosting a Haiku contest for this month . the themes are nature, animals, and trees. the final entries will be due at the LY ochaya on the last Friday of this month on 1/28/11. the final awards places will be determined by three judges(senior geishas) from Yoshiwara okiya. First place will be award L1500. second place will be award L800. third place will be award L400. have fun ! let the writing start ! ^^ please send all contest entries to Senior Maiko Hatsu (lucy1028 chun).

Blog up and running! (Easter 2009) I really ought to make some kimono. Having amassed over 200 in just over a year I really ought to learn how to make my own. Tomoko chan has proved it can be done. Can I find the time to learn? Yes I did! Now need to perfect the techniques and make some quality items. Have over 350 kimono now! (December 2009)
