I will be directing Sunday's Okiya show at 2 pm. Since it is Halloween , any Ghost, Spooky or Halloween story will be fine. Colors will be either orange or yellow or any thing halloweeny. Right now I need 2 preformers and a musican.

Two new kimono have just been released. "Murasaki Aki" and "Matsumori"!!
The new sets are both tsukesage, more formal than the casual komono, yet less formal than houmongi. Perfect for most any occasion. For women, married and older, and geiko/geisha.

we really need to get together asap to get on the same page with some things, and talk about things i know some of you would like to propose. I'd like to have a meeting with US members at 7am Sunday if possible. Then I can hook up with European side to get their view on things.

Ochaya Opening, 7-8pm

The ochaya will be opening its doors in but a few moments, allowing you to bask among the flowers of LY for a brief hour. Of course, food will be served, as well as sake, and tea, of course!

Hunt

The Jingu will be hosting a Riddle Hunt today starting at 11:30. Contestants will be supplied with a riddle that will lead them to the location of the next riddle. The first person to locate and solve all of the riddles will recieve a 1000L prize.

The event starts at the Amaterasu shrine and will run until we have a winner.

Tournament

Konnichiwa!

Dust off that armor and polish those swords, it's DCS2 sword combat tournament time at the LY dojo! Prize money is 1000L (1st), 500L (2nd) and 250L (3rd), followed by a free for all worth 250L.

Tournament is this Saturday, October 9th at 7pm SLT. See attached notecard for rules and landmark.

Fan building contest.

The next festival event tonight is the fan building contest. Contestants will have one hour to build a hand fan using less than 20 prims.

The winners will take home 1000L for first, 750L for second, and 500L for third.

Fans must be complete in order to be judged.
